Can I take Keflex and ranitidine together? Is there an interaction?
Keflex (and the generic cephalexin) is an antibiotic from the cephalosporin family. It is used to treat or prevent bacterial infections. It is commonly used for infections of the skin, respiratory tract, ears, bones and urinary tract.
Ranitidine (and the brand name Zantac) is a H2 blocker. It causes reduced production of stomach acid. It is often use to treat heart burn and to heal or prevent ulcers.
