Lisinopril two times a day

High Blood Pressure Medication

Can I take lisinopril 2 times a day?  The short answer, yes.  But, it is usually not necessary – as the duration of action of the medication should be 24 hours.

Lisinopril is generally just dosed once a day.  However, if your doctor has prescribed it twice a day –it is just fine to take it that way.  The twice a day dosing is often seen with the higher dosage, like 40mg.

Always contact your doctor before changing your dose.  And, contact your Doctor or Pharmacist if you have questions or concerns with your medications.
